The Main Gallery of the Museum of Applied Arts opens its doors to the 61st Children's October Salon, “The Past Speaks: The Cultural Heritage of Our People” — an exhibition that looks at cultural heritage through a child’s eyes, as something vibrant, colorful, and close to home. The opening takes place on Saturday at 1:00 PM, with remarks by acting director Stevan Martinović and the exhibition authors Milica Cukić and Lea Zei, followed by awards and commendations for the most successful young creators. On view until October 21, the exhibition presents works that bring generations, knowledge, and values into conversation with contemporary children’s expression.
