Museum of Contemporary Art, Saturday, July 25: Thematic Tour 'On the Road' through the Exhibition 'Milestones to Modernity'

Art enthusiasts are invited to step into a world of change and discovery with the special thematic tour 'On the Road' as part of the exhibition 'Milestones to Modernity: The Art of Society 1900-1945' at the Museum of Contemporary Art. Led by museum associate and educator Katarina Kuč, this guided tour explores how artists' travels — for education, personal development, or exploration — shaped their views of the world and artistic expression. Through carefully selected works, discover traces of European art centers, encounters with different cultures, landscapes, and ideas, with a special focus on depictions of roads, cities, and landscapes as spaces of inspiration and intercultural dialogue. Visitors will learn how artists of new art movements adapted these to their environment, contributing to the modernization of Serbian art in the first half of the 20th century.
