Museum of Contemporary Art in Belgrade, Friday, October 2: Opening of the exhibition ZARKO BAŠESKI: CORPOREALITY

The sculptures of Žarko Bašeski place the human body at the center of attention, revealing how psychological, social, and existential pressures are inscribed in posture, breath, and the very physical presence of a person. The Museum of Contemporary Art in Belgrade opens the exhibition CORPOREALITY, organized in collaboration with the National Gallery of the Republic of North Macedonia, featuring a selection of works that do not depict the moment of collapse, but rather a prolonged state of tension and the aftermath of life under constant pressure. Curated by Zlata Vučetić and Maja Krstevska, the exhibition opening is a chance to experience this powerful and unsettlingly precise sculptural body of work in the museum space.
