Museum of Contemporary Art, Tuesday, October 20: Opening of the exhibition “Predrag Nešković: Earth – Air”

Join us at the Museum of Contemporary Art on October 20 at 6:00 PM for the opening of “Predrag Nešković: Earth – Air,” which also marks the museum’s anniversary. The exhibition traces Nešković’s oeuvre through six thematic and conceptual sections, refocusing attention on his exploration of images and objects as parts of a broader symbolic and visual universe. The works open up connections to the immediate environment, technology, popular and media culture, kitsch, found objects, and the practices of appropriation, quotation, and repetition of images. Conceived and curated by Svetlana Mitić and Una Popović, the opening night is a special occasion for anyone who wants to experience Nešković’s work through the different phases of a long and consistently research-driven artistic journey.
