Museum of Contemporary Art / MSUB Salon, Friday, October 16: Open Studio Tour of the exhibition “Zorica Čolić and Tanja Juričan: BODY MEASURES”

Join us on Friday afternoon at the MSUB Salon for an open viewing of “BODY MEASURES,” with artist Tanja Juričan and curator Miroslav Karić in attendance. The exhibition brings together works by Zorica Čolić and Tanja Juričan, tracing the ways social norms, systems of control, and ingrained patterns of behavior shape our experience of the body and everyday life. Over the course of three hours, visitors can walk through the exhibition and learn more about the works and the themes connecting the artists’ practices through conversation with the artist and curator. A special focus will be placed on the work “Brojanica” (2026), from the “Defense Strategies” cycle, which raises questions about contemporary forms of social control, the relationship between the body and devices, and transgenerational guilt.
