Madlenianum Opera & Theatre, March 16: Stage Play 'Anniversary'

An evening in Madlenianum promises top-notch theatre: 'Anniversary' on the Grand Stage takes the audience on an emotional journey through two eras and two chapters of the same love story. Act One transports us back to 1968, where a young couple on the verge of marriage experiences an unusual night that changes their lives and family dynamics. In Act Two, 25 years later, we meet the same couple celebrating their marriage milestone in the hotel room where it all began. Six exceptional actors – Vanja Milačić, Ljubinka Klarić, Srđan Karanović, Stefan Bundalo, Tamara Aleksić, and Ljubomir Bulajić – deliver complex emotions and dynamic relationships on stage, blending comedy, drama, and nostalgia. Directed by Petar Jovanović, with a masterful team responsible for set design, costumes, and music. Inspired by the drama of American playwright Rebecca Gilman, this play has been filling seats since its premiere.
