Madlenianum Opera and Theatre, October 23, 2026 — The Glass Menagerie

On October 23, Tennessee Williams arrives on the Small Stage of Madlenianum with "The Glass Menagerie," a moving play about the Wingfield family and their quiet clashes with expectations, longing, and the reality each of them tries to escape in their own way. Directed by Ivana Vujić and performed by Tamara Aleksić, Nikola Rakočević, Borjanka Ljumović, and Ognjen Malušić, this intimate and powerful drama draws on raw emotion, fragile relationships, and the dense family atmosphere that made this classic unforgettable. An evening for audiences who love theatre that lands with precision, without excess, and lingers long after the curtain falls.
