Opera and Theater Madlenianum, February 27 – Ballet Evening: Carmen Suite & Bolero

The ballet stage at Madlenianum is setting the stage for an unforgettable evening for all art enthusiasts – on February 27th at 7:30 PM, the audience has the chance to enjoy a double feature! First on the lineup is the legendary 'Carmen Suite', featuring Ana Teslić making her debut as Carmen, and Lev Semenov, soloist of the National Theatre, portraying the Toreador. Alongside them, Aleksandr Polupanov stars as Don Jose, Nikola Bjanko as Zuniga, and Feodora Grujić in the role of Fate, joined by a richly talented ensemble. The second part of the evening brings a contemporary choreography 'Bolero', starring Ognjen Vučinić in the lead role, who, after the performance, will receive the prestigious 'Smiljana Mandukić' award from the Association of Ballet Artists of Serbia for outstanding achievement. Joining Vučinić on stage are Katarina Bućić, Jovana Grujić, Katarina Ilijašević, Natalija Trifunović, and the ensemble of the Institute for Artistic Dance. This special event marks the 150th anniversary of the death of Georges Bizet and the birth of Maurice Ravel, featuring top artistic collaborators and original stage design.
