Gruffalo Workshop at Dorćol Platz, March 21 – A Literary Adventure for Children

Children are invited to discover the magic of storytelling at the 'Gruffalo' workshop, taking place on Saturday, March 21, from 11 AM at Dorćol Platz, as part of the BelgrAID 2026 festival – 'For My Planet'. In an inspiring setting, kids will step into the dense forest world from the iconic picture book 'The Gruffalo' by Julia Donaldson. Through play and movement, guided by Slađana Stanković, a master educator and creator of the 'Čitanjac' concept, children will act, imagine, and bring the witty mouse's story to life. There will be owl ice cream, fox specialties, and each participant can take home a book with a voluntary donation that contributes to reforestation efforts. Spaces are limited, and the atmosphere promises plenty of laughter and love for books. Entry is free, and every donation helps plant a new tree!
