Silosi
Dunavski kej 46, Beograd
The Honey Garden at Silosi shows what a space looks like when nectar-rich plants truly feed bees and other pollinators. In this green oasis on the Danube quay, more than 5,000 plants grow, mostly honey-bearing species, creating a living habitat that attracts bees, butterflies, and other beneficial insects. Once a neglected area, it has been transformed into a concrete example of urban planting that supports the local ecosystem. Visitors can learn about the idea behind the garden, see how honey plants are grown in practice, and discover why late-blooming species matter so much for city bees.
