Silosi – New Season of Beehive of Knowledge for Preschool Groups in the Honey Garden (Spring/Summer 2026)

Children from Belgrade kindergartens now have a unique opportunity to delve into the fascinating world of bees and pollinators with a completely free educational trip to the Silosi Honey Garden! This excursion is part of the new season of the 'Beehive of Knowledge' project, supported by the Novak Djokovic Foundation and the European project Billion Bees, of which the GAIA Movement is a part. Kids, dressed in real child-sized beekeeper suits, get first-hand experience of bee life, observe the glass hive, talk to experienced beekeepers, and taste authentic Belgrade honey, each taking home a small jar of honey. Each group also receives a book called "Bees" to continue learning after returning to kindergarten. Bus transportation is provided, but seating is limited – only 10 free trips await the fastest groups from Belgrade kindergartens. Discover the creative atmosphere of Silosi and give children an experience that will inspire them to love nature, learn about the importance of bees, and develop ecological awareness through play and companionship by the river.
