Downtown May 22-23: Changeover SWITCH 2026 – Spring Indie Folk and Acoustic Festival

In the heart of Belgrade, Downtown opens its doors on May 22nd and 23rd for the gentlest part of this year's Changeover SWITCH Festival! This two-day musical adventure brings together renowned artists delivering indie folk, acoustic tones, and ethnic vibes from various parts of Europe. On stage, you'll find Sallim from Lisbon, whose meditative vocals and guitar lines perfectly match the spring air of Belgrade, as well as Grgur Visinski from Zagreb, known for his minimalist arrangements and poetic lyrics. Vasilije Peranov brings songs steeped in the spirit of mountain life, while Marine Manasian combines ethnic electronics, indie pop, and new wave in an intimate setting. Aleksandra Bengin explores the boundaries of experiment and emotion through her cello, and Narun – a folk duo from Budapest – weaves the warm sounds of the Balkans and Hungary. The festival offers a chance to enjoy gentle yet powerful music in a cozy atmosphere, surrounded by intriguing decorations and a friendly audience.
