Teatar Vuk, October 23 at 7:30 PM — BALON

A woman doesn’t sleep, doesn’t go out, and never lets go of her yellow balloon. Into that apartment walks actor Filip, determined to make her smile. From his theatrical suitcase, new characters keep springing to life, the pace never lets up, and the stage shifts constantly between laughter and a tense, breath-held silence. Here, Mate Matišić spins a story that feels playful and strange at first glance, while always keeping us guessing what’s really hidden behind that balloon. Directed by Monika Romić, the production features four actors playing eight roles: Dragana Dabović, Stevan Piale, Nikola Ranđelović, and Matea Milosavljević. Music by Coco Mosquito and Monika Romić, with special guest Marko Kon.
