Third Eco-Literature Festival at the Cultural Center of Belgrade – July 30th, 2026 – Panels, Book Launches, and Dance-Theater Performance

The green wave of literature and art is arriving in the heart of Belgrade! The first day of the Third Eco-Literature Festival offers a rich program dedicated to ecological challenges through discussions, books, and art. Attendees will have the chance to join the panel 'Eco-Anxiety and Words that Heal,' where Ognjan Pantić and Ana Šakan explore the impact of climate change on daily life and the role of literature in overcoming ecological concerns. Following this, there will be book launches of 'Zzzlatka' by Norwegian author Marit Kaldhol and 'Habitat' by Irish author Catriona Shine, bringing Nordic and Irish perspectives on contemporary eco-literature. The evening concludes with an extraordinary dance-theater performance 'The Trees Dance' by Dah Theater, blending movement and ecological awareness.
