At U10 on Tuesday, September 29 at 6 PM, Luka Jovanov presents “Line,” a participatory performance that builds a spatial and social system step by step in front of the audience. One spoken line sets off a chain of new rules, roles, and procedures, gradually raising the question of how mechanisms meant to enable collective action can slowly begin to replace it. The audience enters a field of pre-set decisions and suggestions, while the line emerges as a trace of speech, division, belonging, and the passing on of responsibility.
