Cultural Center Božidarac, 17th August 2026 - Opening of the Photo Exhibition 'Now a Little Bit of Cuba!'

The Božidarac Gallery becomes a window to the vibrant streets of Havana! The opening of Nevena Janjić's photo exhibition 'Now a Little Bit of Cuba!' is set for Monday, August 17th at 7:30 PM. Visitors will have the opportunity to stroll through old Havana through the artist's lens, admiring the charm of weathered façades of Spanish Baroque, Neoclassicism, and Art Deco, as well as everyday scenes of the Cuban capital – from drying laundry on balconies, murals, and students to legendary vintage cars driving by. The festive atmosphere of the opening will be enhanced by the presence of the Cuban Ambassador, His Excellency Pavel Orencio Diaz Hernandez. This is a great chance for art and culture enthusiasts to experience the spirit of Cuba through authentic photos and intriguing stories behind each shot. The exhibition is supported by the Municipality of Vračar.
