Parobrod Cultural Institution, October 19: AFTER АФТЕР — Men's Mental Health, Theatre and Inclusion

Tanasije Ćakić presents the monodrama AFTER АФТЕР and opens up a frank conversation about topics that are rarely discussed this directly: men's mental health, suppressed emotions, social taboos, and forms of marginalization that often go unnoticed. The focus is on how theatre can create a space for sensitive subjects without sentimentality or simplification, through the dramaturgical, aesthetic, and ethical choices that shape a performance. Special attention is given to Serbian Sign Language as an equal part of the production, expanding the discussion to accessibility, universal artistic design, and the artist’s responsibility to create a stage space where audiences feel seen and included.
