Ustanova Kulture Parobrod, October 30: the play INHERITANCE

Patriarchy, family pressure, and the silence passed down through generations are at the heart of INHERITANCE at Parobrod. With humor, irony, physical theatre, and striking stage imagery, the play asks why women give up what is rightfully theirs and how much of their own lives they truly get to decide. Directed by Ivana Milenović Popović and performed by Ivana Milenović Popović, Milica Petrović, and Donka Torov, who also composed the original music. The performance confronts the tension between compliance and resistance, between the family legacy we carry and the one we choose to leave behind.
