Cultural Institution Parobrod, May 8 at 8 PM – Theater Play 'Chrysalis'

Two sisters, a complex relationship, and a universal quest for love and family – all brought to life at the Cultural Institution Parobrod in the duodrama 'Chrysalis'. The audience is invited to an emotional story of Daphne, diagnosed with premature ovarian insufficiency, and her sister Kristin, who decides to donate her eggs. As the in vitro fertilization progresses, the sisters face questions of identity, societal expectations, and painful choices that alter their lives. The extraordinary performances by Maša Rodić and Anđelka Petrović, under the production of Nemanja Pavlović, illuminate themes of loss, the role of women, and family loyalty. The play offers a space to reflect on the modern challenges faced by women and the strength of family bonds. Admission is free, with a suggested donation of 1000 RSD, and reservations can be made through Parobrod's official channels.
