Cultural Venue Parobrod, Friday, May 22nd – Performance 'Weaving Resistance' by Hleb Theater

An evening brimming with art, music, and powerful female voices awaits the audience at Parobrod! The Hleb Theater troupe presents 'Weaving Resistance,' a multi-generational musical performance that highlights the legacy of the Antifascist Women's Front and their pivotal roles in emancipation and societal change. Through emotive songs and innovative stagecraft, this performance brings to light the forgotten stories of female fighters and activists, offering a unique artistic experience to contemporary generations. The roles are portrayed by Marta Keler, Jugoslav Hadžić, and Minja Rakićević, with text, direction, and dramaturgy by Sanja Krsmanović Tasić. The costumes and set design are the creative results of the ensemble, with visual identity by Anastasija Tasić. Admission is free with a suggested donation of 1000 RSD. An opportunity for the audience to experience through art the collective memory, struggle, and solidarity of women who have shaped our future.
