Abdelatif Uld Abdalah presents the novel "The Eye of Hammurabi" at Parobrod on Wednesday at 7 PM, in a conversation about a book that blends psychological thriller, crime fiction, and social-historical narrative. Joining the discussion are Prof. Dr. Dragana Đorđević, who translated the novel from Arabic, writer Ljubica Arsić, and Zoran Hamović from IK Clio, while Katarina Lazić opens the evening with welcoming remarks. Through a story of stolen artifacts and unresolved crimes, the novel explores collective trauma, political violence, religious extremism, colonial legacy, and the trade in history—making this literary evening a powerful reflection on memory, forgetting, and contemporary Algerian literature.
