Literature enthusiasts are invited to attend a captivating conversation at the Cultural Center Parobrod on Tuesday, June 16th at 7 PM, centered on the engaging novel 'Reading Homer, One Last Time' by Milisav Savić. The narrative, in which an old dissident and professor from a rural outback revisits classical works such as the Iliad, the Odyssey, and the Anthology of Serbian Folk Songs, will be discussed by the author Milisav Savić himself, along with Professor Ana Stišović Milovanović — the author of a monograph on his postmodern novels and a collection of selected interviews — and Gojko Božović, the edition editor, poet, and literary critic. The discussion will be moderated by Katarina Lazić, the literary program editor at Parobrod. Join us for a dynamic conversation on the societal role of literature, its political impact, and personal experiences, open to public interaction with questions and comments. Admission is free, and Parobrod's ambiance offers an ideal space for meeting a creative community and contemporary story lovers.
