Wednesday night at Zappa Bar is all about the greatest hits of the 80s — from pop and dance anthems to rock classics that defined the decade. Expect plenty of new wave, soft rock, and glam metal, all wrapped in that unmistakable synth-heavy sound that pushed synthpop, electro, and the early roots of techno into the spotlight. As the night goes on, the playlist also brings in R&B, hip-hop, and rap moments that were taking over clubs and radio by the late 80s.
