Zappa Baza, Sunday November 29: Toody Cole and Her Band + Jenny Don’t And The Spurs

Portland garage rock is coming to Zappa Baza with a powerful double bill: Toody Cole and Her Band, joined by Jenny Don’t And The Spurs. Toody Cole, one of the key figures behind Dead Moon, brings a lineup performing a full Dead Moon set, along with songs from Pierced Arrows, The Rats, and Lollipop Shoppe. With Kelly Halliburton and Christopher March in the band, the night promises the raw, direct, no-frills sound this group of musicians is known for. The show starts at 8 PM and offers a rare chance to hear the songs that shaped garage rock, with Jenny Don’t And The Spurs also appearing on the same European tour.
