Cinema Balkan, March 12–21, 2026: Exhibition 'Besieged in a Room - Exploring the Works of Samuel Beckett'

The gallery space at Cinema Balkan transforms into a venue where contemporary artists engage in dialogue with Samuel Beckett's legacy through photography, drawing, objects, and video works. The exhibition 'Besieged in a Room – Exploring the Works of Samuel Beckett' delves into themes of existential collapse and the paradoxes of existence, focusing on Beckett's most innovative period (1946–1950). Visitors are invited to embark on a visual and intellectual journey through the works of Vana Urošević, Zoran Todović, Marija Ćalić, Aleksandar Denić, Zoran Dimovski, and Nikola Šuica, curated by Ksenija Samardžija and Nikola Šuica. This exhibition is part of the Belgrade Irish Festival and is open daily from March 12-21, 2026, offering a unique perspective on Beckett's work through the lens of contemporary artistic expressions.
