The baroque opera 'Julius Caesar in Egypt' returns to steal the spotlight at Madlenianum on Sunday, March 1, at 7:30 PM, with a lavish reprise of the spectacle that thrilled the premiere audience. This monumental work by George Frideric Handel, presented by Opera & Theatre Madlenianum and New Belgrade Opera, features an international cast of soloists and artistic ensembles from Serbia and across Europe. The performance will be enriched by the UK-based New Trinity Baroque orchestra playing on original instruments, supported by the Russian chamber choir 'Legacy' and the dancers from the Institute of Artistic Dance. Under the baton of conductor Predrag Gosta and the direction of Iliya Roitman, a fantastic artistic team navigates through three acts of this baroque masterpiece. Sandro Rossi will shine on stage as Julius Caesar, alongside Radoslava Vorgić as Cleopatra, with Silvia Radjen Kumar, Federica Moi, Julio Portela Piñón, and Sreten Manojlović.
